Who's watching you bro?

Ever noticed who pays attention to whom at the gym or the things people do when they think nobody's looking?

Been training legs to failure lately and at the end of each workout, I'd sit in a corner until I muster up enough strength hobble to car and head home. During this pre-hobble recovery time I would look around the gym and just observe my fellow gym goers.

The following is a list of my top ten observations
  • 8 out of 10 people that notice a guy with a somewhat decent physique, are other guys
  • A woman with a physique is noticed by everyone
  • The period in between sets formerly known as a rest period have now become selfie and text message time and this is annoying
  • Mirror selfies is a disease and it spares no one
  • There's an ongoing secret competition among gym goers and some competitors aren't even aware they're competing
  • The women at the gym never take note of how heavy you went on a particular lift, ever
  • Every gym goer has aspirations to become a personal trainer after a few weeks in the gym
  • Some folks think it's OK to to record or take photos of people doing things differently than they do, it's not
  • Even the most normally antisocial/unapproachable guys become helpful and willing to offer unsolicited advice
  • A fart in the Spin class never goes unnoticed. It's not about the sound... you could never escape the smell

The above being said, I truly admire and respect everyone that makes the effort to exercise and be fit, so do what you must and continue to get overPUMPED
